Alice's adventures in wonderland♥

Alice, a girl with wonderful and great fantasy, dreamed of interesting adventures in wonderland in a lovely afternoon. Chasing a white rabbit in a hurry, she accidentally fell into the wonderland to start her insane day dream.

The best part I thought of this book was the grin without the cat. It is so impressive and adorable that even when I think of it at night, I would smile. Every animal when Alice was to talking to, I felt like having the ability like that. Although at first Alice kept offending those poor animals that I was really furious about such foolish way to communicate with others, she had improved though. It was really amazing that every time Alice went big and small with having some drink and certain food. I’d like to try if it insists in nowadays. Being any size which ever you want might be excellent but having some trouble on traffic. Though there wasn’t any wonderland with such interesting and fantastic croquet to play in a rose garden side upon the palace.

Everything seems so fabulous and attractive in wonderland that it must be a good place to visit.

Eco Art

Last Friday we had a special morality class that conbines art and English for two hours. Photographer Hsu tell us a lot about pictures he took at Tainan 七股. The picture up there is the one I remember the most. The hill in the middle was built up by salt. And among those hills are fields that people there used to dry the salt from the sea. But nowadays, salt is actually made from factories. Those in Tainan are there for sightseeing though.

The color up in the sky is pure and clean above the field. The reflection of the dawn on the water is directly spreading interesting mixing of blue and purple. It is fantastic that the field also made the reflection like windows on the ground.

A Special Day for us

 Yesterday, our  alumnae had come back to our school. They were already Grandmothers, having their old husband together, smiling gently with happiness. Since they graduated from here, it has been a long long time. How would they feel when they saw all new changes around the school and students here studying and enjoying their youthhood?
Maybe some day in the future, but I'm really not certain about it, we may wear an old sunglasses and an impressive funny hat, coming back to our sweet memories. Aside from this, our school marching band and military are briliant, they did a great job. They were sparkling under the sunshine. Steadiy and gracefully, there is no doubt that we are the best. We're proud of you all.

Treasure Island

     
      Jim is a kind and smart boy, interested in adventures and having great courage. He went on the adventure of searching for the treasure of Captain Flint after he found the map. The journey on the ship, working with John Silver, he had battle with the pirates to get the gold.

        I think that Jim is really brave to get on the journey without any family members or friends in trust. To be honest, though it was a map of Treasure Island, I won’t decide to find it. It may lose your life, maybe you can’t get back to your hometown, and watching the horizon on the deck with no food or any ship in sight till whole ship had no one survive.

        Maybe it is too lucky for us to live in the century with no war. We don’t have to worry if the pirates would attack the town or city in night. That might be the reason why people in nowadays are not that fond of finding treasures. But there are more adventures found through the space, jungles, Antarctica…. Some search for the mysterious in the ocean, new creatures, material under the ground, finding the changes of the climate, the earth. Adventures for students like us might be some healthy outside activities or things we usually experience every day.

The Secret Garden

Little Mary was a bad-tempered, and disagreeable child before she moved to England. She met the servant, the gardener, and met friends there. Realizing something warm between people, she became mature and thoughtful during playing outside in nature.

Breathing fresh air, running and sweating around made Mary change a lot as if by magic. Being rude to others or ignoring often hurt someone who really cares about you. At last, Colin had also changed by Mary's help. He was also a rude and disagreeable child as the same as Mary did before. But after he met Mary, they went to the secret garden which grows lots of beautiful flowers, creatures and warm sunshine. He recognize the meaning of life and stopped thinking negatively, he was suddenly full of courage and hope to face the illness. He bravely stood up and started have fun with his friends. Just like a healthy child as other ones.

I was so touched when I thought that Mary was just like those days I were still being naughty and rude to anyone in my casual life. How ashamed it is, now thinking about those insulting words and behavior. I'm really apologized to those teachers and my parents. After having some experiences, knowing what to do, searching for the target in one’s life....It would be great to have nothing worry about, and simply take a walk in the sunshine. Being close to nature is something I would like to do if there were no school and assignment occupying my time. 

With those pressure and stress, struggling for something ridiculous and unreasonable. Feeling painful and tired, I'd rather take a break for few minutes during a little walk in the park with nothing disturbing. Our mind had just been ruined by the reality after leaving our childhood. Now we were surrounded with plenty of books instead of nature. The magic of secret garden can also be used in our daily life. Think something positive instead of putting oneself in a illness situation, you may have your dream come true.

Neat and Tidy

        The story was happened in few years ago, my life had changed since I met a totally GREAT teacher. At the beginning of the story, I would say that I don’t mean anything writing this story.

        Teacher Lydia, a teacher makes all students clean the floor with wiper and 　scouring pad the first day in junior high school. She is a quite amazing English teacher, and she had us clean the floor for a week every semester begins. We had a hard time during those days. There were tests and quizzes every single days, and having English class over ten hours a week. Having every student remind the text books every single lesson. Although it was painful and ridiculous, I’m really appreciate my teacher had have done all these supports.

        We were taught every lesson complete and perfect, grammars in high school were also been taught at that time. Every vocabulary, sentences on the sheet or in text books would be concluded and ordered accurately. I didn’t like the teacher before, but after I graduated, I since knew that I was well-being and really lucky. She had given all we would meet in the future. I’m surprised that the teacher had done so many for students with no extra bonus salaries. Now in junior high school, I still think of my teacher sometime the lessons I had already learnt. Thanks for everything during the hard time we had been, I’m really proud of my teacher.

It never ends

Since graduated from elementary school, I haven't went back to see my English teachers teaching us for years. We were taught to know every  KKphonetic symbols to meet system in junior high school at last.  Practicing amount of test questions was one of the measures.

In elementary school, English never made me feel interested in it in class. After noticing I was never concentrate in class, my teacher gave me some books to choose. The game was: You can read those books instead of doing those boring activities and homework, but your results would depend on the report you gave me in the end of the semester. Actually I enjoyed those days reading Sherlock Holmes with no pressure and meaningless homework.  

Since then, I had a reading ability as if by magic. I’ve never thought reading is such an amazing habit that no one could disturb you in the situation. I found delights in reading either English or Chinese novels.

Those were the days

I went to a kindergarten which make every children speak only English when I was three. You can only ask for toilet in English. During either play time or in class we could speak only English. That was a really smart way to let children learn and use English in usual life. We read English picture books, fought each other in English, had fun with foreign teachers. I knew my Chinese name until I almost graduated from kindergarten. In my family, we are used to call others in English names. Practicing writing Chinese seem hard for me at that time. But I was happy learning those days.

I was not really getting used to the new learning environment in elementary school. My classmates were really good at shouting at each other in Chinese words that I had never heard of. It may be the reason why I was so quiet and nervous talking to others in class. There was still cram school after school, teachers I had known since long time ago. English lessons, homework, tests every week, speech contests, spelling bee award, ghost story writing, summer and winter camp....Although some were a bit boring, it really helped me improve my English ability.

I had a New Zealand pen pal then. Whole class would each write a letter to them. Saying something interesting in Taiwan, our school life, family members....I still remember that they can go to school at nine o' clock and go home at two. Whole class would like to move to there then. Students in other countries are free and happy either during weekends or school life.

A monologue from a spirit that has no idea without fighting

        Living in a generation commonly imbued with behavior and values which is particular about efficiency, breeds innumerable civilizations and transitions, entering- higher school mechanism and conscious of screening, after been sieved out distributed to a simple high school that those life will be filled with hormone of the same sex in the coming-endless three years. To become a person who is able to have country and social responsibility on one’s back, here comes the sense of self-respect and expectation with amount of attempt on the risk of losing oneself in the future.

        Diving in the world of literature, I sank in the environment among the sense of sight and realizing. Without getting appropriate communication with the society by any single language, art gain frames or semicircular canals to create a wonderful amazing paradise with fantasies wandering on the edge of the reality. I haven’t given up creating art works although the time was arduous and imprisoned. To gain glory and resplendent fact, getting rid of the scandal which is been covered with mental patients around the reality. Set a record on the one’s youth history that was been kidnapped by compulsory education. I’m not regretful about spending lots of time and consciousness, it is worthy of doing it with burning my soul and losing my mind.

Joining a small part of life between others, we enjoy the glory and achievements. Three years of planning, schoolwork will still be the only main shaft, stretches limitless structure of activity and health-mind-depressing work. Brain will not stop calculating and creating, with in one’s ability, I would like to win proud for class and person. Thanks for the lesson in junior high, slaughtering and painful might be regularly must. Serious battlefield, except bleeding and painful, I don’t want to make me depress ever again. Hardships of a journey, tired body with a losing-soul, been one thousand boils and a hundred holes, although falling down in sore straits, after three years, I wish I could stand still and greet with me in the future expansively.
